We follow people's bodies and and allow their body, which is inifintely intelligent, to show us not only what's wrong, but how to correct it as well. The person on the table is doing all the healing. Nobody can heal you, that's up to you. What we do is give a helping hand and set up an appropriate environment to facilitate the process of healing, which we feel honored to be a part of. It's pretty amazing to see what the body can do and how it heals itself if given half a chance. Every person varies with the results they notice, because every person is different. We never do the same session twice. We respond to who's on our massage table in the moment. For legal purposes we will say that since we are not doctors, we do not treat, cure, prescribe or diagnose any illness or injury and that this is certainly no substitute for appropriate medical care. Please consult a physician before receiving CranioSacral Therapy. "Initially I was reluctant to set up an appointment, but my wife insisted. When doctors did a CAT scan they had found a tumor on my kidney the size of a golfball. I was scheduled for surgery. Figuring it couldn't hurt, I received 4 craniosacral sessions in 2 weeks. When the doctors went in to remove the tumor, they found a tumor the size of a dime. They had told me that depending on how big the tumor was, they might have to take the whole kidney, but because it was so small they only had to remove 1/3 of my kidney, which is still in working order today. I am very grateful for the craniosacral work both before and after the surgery. It helped so much that I only needed half the pain medication. It feels wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone." - K.D., Virginia Beach, VA "I hadn't been able to raise my arm over my head for a long time and it was affecting my yoga. I was going to see an orthopedic surgeon about it. But I tried a session, and within about 15 minutes of work on my shoulder, I had complete and total range of motion and was pain free. I remember the first thing I did when I woke up the next morning was to see if I could still move my shoulder and it was just fine. Thanks.". - T.B., Cincinnati, OH "I had chronic pain in my shoulder and received a few craniosacral sessions and am now pain free. I don't really have anything wrong with me these days, but I still get craniosacral every once in a while, because I enjoy how relaxed it makes my whole body feel.". - M.D., Virginia Beach, VA "I had TMJ dysfunction (I clenched my teeth and my jaw hurt) and received several craniosacral sessions, including a session just focused on mouthwork, and thankfully enough I haven't had any real problems with it since.". - G.L., Norfolk, VA "The range of motion in my shoulder and in my leg has improved substantially. It's pretty wild...I am able to move my body in ways that I hadn't been able to in years. I never thought I would be able to, I figured I would just have to get used to it. "- S.K. Virginia Beach, VA "I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and was taking medication for it, which really didn't seem to help too much. I decided to set up a couple craniosacral appointments. And during one of the sessions, I remembered that I had been hit by a car when I was little. And I could feel all this heat coming out my body, where I got hit by the car. It was amazing. It received a few more craniosacral sessions, and I felt so good that I decided to stop taking the medication and I haven't needed it since. That was about a year ago.". - J.B. - Virginia Beach, VA "It was quite an eye-opener to get CranioSacral. I really learned alot about healing and how my body works. I noticed I could breathe a whole lot easier after the work, like I could take huge deep breathes. Things had gotten all bound up because of a fall I had taken years ago. And I just got used to living that way. But when I released the restrictions in my chest during one of the sessions, I noticed the next day how soft and relaxed my whole chest felt. I can breathe easier. Thanks." . - M.S. Virginia Beach, VA "I had back surgery for a ruptured disc when I was only 17 years old. I had been in chronic pain for more than a decade afterwards. Sometimes debiliating. I had tried all sorts of things to relieve the pain after the surgery, which was supposed to take care of the pain. I tried medicine, physical therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, herbs, exercise therapy, etc. It became almost a full time search to feel better. Each approach seemed to help, if only temporarily. But it wasn't until I found CranioSacral Therapy that I noticed the biggest improvements, not only with my back, but in my whole life. I actually started to have days and even weeks where I was totally pain-free. I learned first hand the effect chronic pain can have in your daily life. Today I am so much better I can't even begin to describe it. I still receive craniosacral therapy monthly and I wish more people could learn about this approach. It can and does have a tremendous amount of value to offer people, if only they knew about it...". - Robert Sigler, Virginia Beach, VA If you have any questions, please send an email to:
